Great spot! Close to the river and to some good walleye spot!

Heard that our Looney now worth 0,80$ US. Good new for those who are travelling the US for the summer and also for buying online!

At the dealership in Kamloops and they have a 2017 TRD Pro, auto transmission in Red for sale. They are asking 55k plus tax, pretty sure Toyota Canada website says 53k. Looks good but that's a lot of cash!

What's up everyone? Just thought I'd stop in and warn you that I was heading your way.

I'll be coming across in Roosville, heading towards Banff, Jasper with the end goal for this leg of the trip as Alaska. I've been adding a bunch of stuff to the 'to see' list and don't have a timeline. I found another thread a little lower that had a lot of good info about the area, so I'm thinking about taking 40 north to the Smith Dorrien Trail for a bit of scenic driving.

If anyone is in the area, I'm always up for grabbing a beer and meeting new people.

Let me know when you are coming through, if you are going through Lethbridge on your way to the 40 I might be around.

Looks like I'll be going Roosville to crowsnest pass and north from there. Don't think I'll end up that far east, but if I head that way I'll let you know.

I've heard a lot about everything being expensive north of the border... My idler pulley was making noise yesterday so I decided to replace the one with the most drag since they all seem fine... If I wasn't going to be in the middle of nowhere i wouldn't replace it. But it was $90 vs $35 (both USD)! Hopefully it'll fix the squeak (only when driving and hitting bumps). Yesterday it squealed after I stopped for about a minute.

But it's beautiful here, other than the smoke stuff.

That is a pretty big difference in price!

    How's the journey so far?

Journey is going well. Alaska was nothing but cold and rain and little sun so I'll be in the Vancouver area for a while catching some rays and hitting the trails.

Just had an opportunity to visit Canada (Victoria, Vancouver and Whistler) for the first time last week.

It was a really fun trip. Met some interesting people. Whistler was basically a bunch of "bros.". Reminded us of Bend, OR but multiplied times 100.

Very friendly folks. I learned my sarcasm did not translate very well up there, though! :)

Not sure if your interested but the drive from Pemberton to Lillooet is pretty good. FSR there and you can take the hwy back to Pemberton if you want.

Several areas in BC are closed for wheeling due to risk of fire in the interior. If you head that way you may want to double check where you are going before you go out. The fines are pretty crazy not to mention the local backlash.

Good call, is there a certain website where i could find the info or contact info?

The topo i downloaded doesn't have much for forest roads and I wasn't sure how the private property worked so I've mostly avoided exploring up here.
