    None....yet
Being practical over the past few years, I put myself in a VW Passat TDI for my commute to work. VW got in trouble and ended up buying it back from me...for what I bought it for 40,000 miles ago! That opened the door for me to finally buy the truck I've wanted for years.

I've been pouring through TW threads for weeks (laughing while reading the fuel economy threads after getting 40 MPG+ in the TDI) and picked up this 17 OR on Friday. I have become obsessed with researching what it is I want to do to this thing. Had to take a break and detail the wife's Jeep to make sure she didn't get jealous, then got right back to it.

Really excited that the TW community is here to help out.

    Welcome to TW Trailvis!

I hear you on the MPG's. I DD'd an '05 xB for the past 4 years and a '91 Miata prior to that. Solid 31 MPG all day everyday in both. It's a bit of an adjustment (trying not to watch the fuel gauge) in the Taco.

Oh well, the wife has DD'd our '02 Trooper since '03 and hasn't complained so I'm sure I'll get used to it. Although, if gas goes up to $5 again I'll sell it and get another 1st Gen xB.

I just found this thread while searching "TDI". I got my first Tacoma last month after my 2000 TDI Golf died. Still getting used to half the MPGs, but I'm retired now and don't drive as much
