Could use some input; I have had my 08 taco for almost 10 years. relatively low miles at 124k. Kelly blue book says it's worth about 11k max but I see people asking 13-16k for used with higher miles.

Should I just list it high and lower it? God willing I will be getting a 17 or 18 Tacoma to replace it but really don't want to trade it in

Ask 14,5 and don't go a penny lower lol Besides that, please don't leave the 2nd gen family. That's all.

I would think you could easily pull in 15K. That's what most are getting in NorCal for like age/mileage.

sell it to me for 7k since thats my budget for a used taco ;)

my advice (and what im doing for my 13' Accord that i'm selling), figure out a high/low between KBB, NADA, and Craigslist/Autotrader and price accordingly.

What else you gonna throw in to sweeten the pot? haha, I have a 2016 civic ex-t that's pretty nice to drive around. My Taco seems like a fossil when I get back in it.

Thanks for the feedback guys!! appreciated

A fossil that's worth bank and was built to be showed off in a museum. Take a step back and think about modding it some more.

I have gone back and forth over keeping or selling. I think with the relatively low miles I can sell for a nice price, if I don't sell now then I will drive it till it's dead. I had a really nice 88 extra-cab 4x4 SR5 Turbo that I drove until I got my 08. I do miss the sunroof

Then get a sunroof and turbo the thing! Make it what you want. You've had it for this long and hopefully treated it properly as well, give it some love. I know I'm over due at 103k now, that's why I've got parts stacking up waiting to be installed.

I'd think long and hard before switching up if you are looking for a 17/18. Give the 3rd Gen a cpl more years to mature. You have a low mileage assumingly paid off Tacoma that has prob been trouble free for the most part

Just to provide a reference point, I purchased my 08 with 109k miles for 10.8k and it was a base 4x4 in excellent condition. Having watched the market in my area for months I knew it would sell fast. A lot depends on local market so you might want to spend some time on CL and sites like cargurus to get a feel for prices of comparable trucks and note how fast they sell(or dont sell).

I wouldn't recommend getting a 3rd gen right now. May want to wait until 2020 model comes out so toyota has all the kinks worked out.

What kinks are in the 3rd gen? I have a baby on the way and basically in the same boat. Access cab and need a 4 door to fit baby and wife camping.
