@BDub has a link in his signature for stuff close to ohio

my list (have and have not been to): Southington off road and a few trails in southern ohio are the only ones on my list actually in ohio. others: land between the lakes, black mountain, red river, adventure off road, dirty turtle, rush off road, windrock, there's more...

when I hear about one I just get on google maps and place a star in that location so I have it saved. if you're willing to make the drive land between the lakes is an awesome place. they have an off road park, as well as trails all over the place. you can get a back country camping permit and spend days out there and hardly see another person. there's an annual meet there in march. i'll post a link in here when the thread is created. you're welcome to convoy down with me if you're interested in going

I like the idea of that, sounds awesome! I don't think I'd be able to swing the 5-6hr drive each way. I'm looking for something 1-2 hours from Dayton. I do my reserve duty up in Youngstown, so I might try to hit Southington Park one of those weekends.

Good afternoon gentleman, I just recently moved to the Dayton area (Centerville), and was curious if you ever got a meet and greet setup. Also curious if there are any good aftermarket shops or garages in the area.

I usually do all my wrenching/mods myself; however, my front chunk is screwed and needs to be completely rebuilt. Unfortunately I don't have some of the tools/presses to do the work.

The LBL definitely looks like a good time. If I'm running on all fours by than I might try to make it.

My output bearing is completely shot. There is about an inch of play on the shaft. Not exactly sure how it happened, but think my actuator stayed engaged. Anyways I'm sure I have metal shavings all through it, so it's going to need a complete rebuild. I'm probably better off trying to find one at a junkyard.

OFFICIAL 2nd gen 4x4 front differential bearing vibration thread

but i just realized you're a first gen....

if the whole front end really is shot then a junk yard might be a good option. and i'd still do it myself! that can get real expensive, real quick!

if you have a backup vehicle to drive, i'd clear out the garage pull out the diff and take a look!

I agree with Mike, if you have the time/availability, i'd pop the cover off to just see how bad it is. might not be too bad, if so, you can save some money. If it's FUBAR, then you know you tried!

I'm going to get on google maps to find that spot by the casino you mentioned. thanks! My son got a Traxxas Stampede for Christmas so we've been hitting construction sites on the weekends to sling some mud around!

There's a place out by Hueston woods state park that I've heard is a pretty good time. It's called big maples farm. My Jeep buddies tell me it's fun but idk if we can trust their choices. Lol
It's $10 a day to get in or $15 to camp there.

Hey, anyone need a OEM short/bed mat for 2nd or 3rd Gen? I'm selling one in the buy/sell/trade section. I'm up near Tipp City/Troy.
