Bro. I've replaced the lasagna noodle stock Taco leaf springs with a set of OLE. Speaking for myself, they kick ASSSSS! I'm not looking for Cadillac but these replacement springs are STOUT yet not as stiff as a rail road tie.
EDIT <OME, not OLE... what the fuk is OLE??? LOL!>

OK. I'm slightly sober here. And I also want to continue to inform you ardent listeners out there about my progress with my struggles with upgrading the crummy stock Toyota two-piece rear drive line (with all of its wobbles, jerks, thumps, and bumps!). Today, I have just installed my new custom (single-piece) drive line into my 2011 Taco. And all I can say is FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I said fuck, as in what a fucking improvement! But before I type too much more, I have to give a mighty internet shout out to Al Nichols of Drive Line Service of Sacramento, dlssac.com

$450. Not too bad for the results it yields.
I'll get some pics in the next day or so and also some GoPro vids.

OK. I have finally gotten around to GoPro-ing my new single piece drive line. So here we go:

Side view of the new one piece shaft and a display of where the old carrier bearing used to be

A side view of the yoke showing pinion angle and diff torsion under load.

New single piece shaft from the diff's point of view.

And from the TC point of view:

    The double cardan itself:

And a final view of the cardan:

After driving my Taco for a few weeks with the new one piece drive line I can say that I am very happy with the results. Power is smoothly transferred from the TC down the line back to the differential. The hopping and slapping of the old carrier bearing is a thing of the past. Why Toyota went two-piece is kinda beyond me. It seems that it would be less expensive from a manufacturers perspective to eliminate a center bearing.

But anyway, I am totally happy with the 450USD that I shelled out for this custom shaft. My Taco is now drivable again.

And another big thank you to Al Nichols at https://www.drive-lines.com/dlssac.com/index.html

It was a shaft from a junkyard.. I'm thinking it was weakened either by the wreck that sent it there or the staff dropped it..

Alrighty I’m digging up some bones here. It’s 2025 driveshafts are now going for $1000+ tom woods for roughly $750 however since so many people complained or didn’t troubleshoot properly he ain’t making em for us anymore….he’s subbing out some company in Tennessee making aluminum shafts for $1050 . My local driveline shop surprisingly who we use all the time at work told me he can’t make a metric shaft???? All I have to say to that is “wild”….so who are we using these days?

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Any other local shop. Vehicles been driving around America for over a century. I went to California driveline on my recent mod required and have used driveline pro. Both at a very reasonable price for what I requested.
