i have garmin 2797lmt. ..with traffic.
they only sell the 12v lighter charger..they are giant..the unit recognizes non garmin cable
and disables,,,sucks.

i want to hack the cable to use usb to charge and still get traffic..
i know bout the 18k resistor, which may or may not still be nessary..
