What are the best methods, tricks, techniques, tools, tips, etc. for debadging?

I would assume it helps to be a warm temperature, and you start gently pulling off at one end?
I recall reading someone used dental floss to break the seal.

Does debadging usually leave adhesive residue? What are the best methods to address this?

    THANKS!

Don't just pull, use floss and some heat from a hair dryer helps. Goo gone for the adhesive you can't get off with your fingers. I washed it and used a spray on wax afterwards. It still looks great after a year.

Yep. Fishing line works too. After using goo gone to take off any left over adhesive, take a bit of wax over that area.

Use heat (from the sun, a hairdryer, water) to remove them, then adhesive remover to clean up any residue.
