Do you guys find it inconvenient needing to store a bucket as well? Seems like a large thing to take up space. I know it's necessary for easier wag bag usage but was wondering if there are better solutions out there that are more economical space wise.

    I use this:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0024OAQ3Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

folds up and takes up minimal space in the bed

I go up to Mt Shasta about once a year. You're required to use Wag Bags. What I do is I open the thing up, use my ice ax to secure one corner....if there's wind it'll be the wind ward corner. After that I poop on it and wrap it up, squeeze out as much air as possable, seal it and burry it in the snow and mark the spot so I can pack it out later. The stand/seat thing would be nice but squatting and pooping is okay too.

Yeah I mean I've been on countless trips where I just dig a hole, squat, and bury. This is more for trying to get the wifey into trips. Want a decent way for her to feel comfortable to go when out in the woods.

This was exactly why I got that foldable portable toilet, the privacy shelter, the pressurized water kit, a propane hot water heater, the rtt, the extra padding on for the mattres, ....

The list goes on and on. So far, everything has been a hit and she has gone on longer and and more rugged trips with me :)

Letting her help pick out some of the "luxury" items will definitely keep her interested and increase her participation level. I've got more gadgets than I think I need but she wants them so I just roll with it because I enjoy having her along with me.

That is exactly it! Going solo is fun and all but I would choose her to come along on every trip. That is the best time we have spent together disconnected from reality of life and just enjoying the moment out in nature.

Yes my wife and I are picking ours up on thursday it is a Tiger moth by Taxa we got ucky and found a left over 2016. The actual off road package consists of AT tires, arb awning, road shower, and a rock guard on the front. Google them they're quite impressive and built like a tank

    pull out kitchen area

inside as seen through the lift up side

We did happen to get AC but this is a very basic camper, tiny, and only wighs 900 pounds to pull with my 4 cyl

That's where we are now just the 2 of us. After 17 years of being Girl Scout leaders we have plenty of gear. The idea is to leave it packed and we can just hook up and go basically. I have to figure out power demands for the cpap unit I sleep with it does come wired with a battery and outlets and prewired for solar
