Like many people on the forum, I've relocated the tow plug to the left license plate light cut -out.
Does anybody make a plug and play LED light to replace the right oem light to make up for the missing left light?

You can pick up smd led bulbs size 194 on Amazon for dirt cheap in bright white to increase the output.

These are the 194 LEDs that I use. They're REALLY bright. I am in the same boat as you with the license plate light. I put 1 in the right side and it really lights up the plate. HOWEVER, it also reflects off the chrome bumper, in between the plate and the trailer light connector. That part of the bumper is a perfect 45 degree angle and from the rear, it looks like a rearward shining white light. I am a bit afraid a gungho cop is going to hassle me about it. I am thinking about putting some black adhesive sticker stuff there.

My bumper is black,so hopefully this won't be a issue. I clicked on the link and it said it would not fit my 2013 AC. What's up with that?

Trust me. It fits just fine in the license plate light housing. I also have 3 of them in my 3rd brake light. Super bright. I also have the amber version of this led in my front corner marker lights.

Do not put them in the map lights though. They're way too bright for the interior.
