OEM eBay roof rack $149 shipped, only 3 left!

Just figured I would let you all know about this as I just bought one and there are only 3 left, $149 with the eBay $20 off coupon. Even if it's a knockoff it's still a good buy.

From what I understand they're all the same the seller maybe just doesn't know that. If you look at all others for sale they're listed as fitting 05-17.

 

Down to just 2 left, did one of you buy it?

 

Not sure what happened but they upped the price to $199, maybe a script or something that changes it if they sell to quickly?

 

It came, fast shipping and a great deal but very not OEM, I contacted them to see what they would say and here's their response:

"Dear buyer ,
We are very pleased to receive your advice,we attach great importance to your question, I contacted the factory, the production of the product factory is an OEM factory, our China factory to each big suppliers, product quality is no problem.

Have you installed the product successfully? Can you take some pictures of me?
If you still feel that the product has quality problems during your use, our company can give you a compensation of us $20 for the principle of customer supremacy.

Even the OE one doesn't seem to be. Mine is OEM but there's no Toyota part # or anything on it. And they feel pretty cheap.

 

My Oem rack from 2nd generation fit my 2017 no problem. It will definitely fit.

 

eBay title reads "OE Style". Wether or not it's from the OEM is debatable...I would suspect it's not.
If it fits and is functional with the material as described "Aircraft Aluminum Alloy", for the price it doesn't seem like a bad deal.

 

My OEM is nothing to brag about. The first time I used it I noticed it felt pretty cheap.

Knock offs or legit OEM part?

 

They have changed the title which I didn't know you could do midway into the auction. The original title read "2016 - 2017 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab OEM Factory Roof Rack Set"

It's fine, seems well enough built for my needs, the cross braces are metal, the bases seem like more of a glass reinforced plastic or some type of harder like material but a magnate won't stick to it (not even an aluminum magnate) so I'm guessing it's plastic of some sort.

Cause everybody has seen a roof rack before and I haven't installed mine. Waiting to put a carbon fiber wrap on the roof first.
