I have had these KC slimlites sitting in the garage for a few years collecting dust and thought I should mount these puppies up. My questions are should they be higher, lower or not at all?? They are currently being held in place by a couple small c-clamps to get the general idea if that is where I want them.

The same shit everyone else has.
I like the height. Run some jumper wires and see how they perform and if you can get them aimed how you like at the current position.

Should be able to aim them with no problem. Will mount them at this height. If I need to move them I can always fab up different mounts.

I mean I think that height is perfect as it looks centered on that bumper piece behind it, so I wouldn't go higher or lower.

I just put the KC flex pods on my ditch light brackets. They're awesome!

Got some mounts made and the lights wired up. Forgot to take a picture during the day with everything done. I do have a night picture with everything on. I have about a 1/4 inch from the light housing to the bumper. Over all I'm happy with how it turned out. If I remember I will post some pictures when I have some daylight.

Got a couple pictures in the daylight. I like the look of the lights without the KC Covers.

Awesome! More and more folks are starting to run the single FLEXs at ditch/pillar lights. I love the low-profile aspect of them from a drivers' perspective.

Looks good! Without the stone-guard is a clean look on your truck for sure.
