Likewise! I only wear contacts for surfing and working out. They itch too much to wear all the time.

The frame wasn't tight enough so it'd keep slipping off when I'd look down. I should get new ones but I like contacts better. I'd have to get prescription sunglasses too, that's when my sight is the worst is while driving without. Signs are blurry af.
I've worn mine for like 4 days straight without taking them out :anonymous:

I went to a local shop. $50 for the pair. Well worth it considering you need the brakes bled.

Ya don't pay them $200 for a $50 part. They're not that hard. I didn't do them alone but @dtaco06 did them as he knew what to do. It's really just unplug old ones, plug on new ones, bleed the brakes. Done.

I have heard its pretty easy but when I was reading up on the install on TW I saw a few people who had issues with soft breaking after due to not having properly bled the breaks. Seeing as I have no experience I feel like I might be prone to a mistake like this

My contacts are monthly ones. They don't get irritated or itchy until I've worn them for like a month and a half. I usually take them out I just get too tired and forget about them and then I'm in bed when I remember and I'm not getting up to take them out lol

If you have someone to help bleed them it's really easy. If you can find a place to do them for 50 I'd just do that. I still need to install my front lines

This is a relatively simple job to do, Just make sure you have a quality flare nut wrench in the right size.

I installed mine solo, but, you do need a second person to help bleed the brakes.

Yea I will have to look around, if I can find a relatively good deal I will pay that for peace of mind. I have to have both the front and rears installed, heard it doesn't take much longer than an hour for someone who knows how to do it.

Out of curiosity did you have any prior experience with this before your install?

I was a bicycle mechanic for a while and bled my share of hydraulic mountain bike brakes. But no experience with car brakes prior to this.

    * Not that hard to do if you have the correct tools *

Or when @dtaco06 does all the work while you pump the brakes

It wasn't hard, strenuous work whether he did it or I did it. The worst part was it was hot as shit out. It's a pretty easy thing to do, now that I've seen it done. Yes obviously you need the tools but you need the tools for everything.

Yes, I follow the funny pictures thread too. I don't know how that's fucking possible though. That lady must have worked hard to get those contacts stuck in there
