so I bought my '13 double cab about a month ago and just noticed that when I am backing up and turning the wheel both directions I am hearing a semi loud clicking sound. Any suggestions as to what to do? Thanks guys. My mechanic buddy just passed away recently so I'm kind of on my own here. :help:

When it happens, is it sort of a one and done sort of thing or is it rotational? Meaning, you get a pop/click and then it doesn't happen again until you turn the wheel the other way or go the other direction?

Yeah exactly. It doesn't happen until I turn the wheel both directions again like parallel parking

You likely have a lower control arm cam bolt that's not tight enough. It's pretty common. Torque the hell out of both the front and rear cam bolt for the left and right sides and you should be good. They take quite a bit of torque to remain quiet. My guess is when you're tightening them down you'll find one or two looser than the others.

Talking about these guys...I believe the front's are under the skid plate so you'll have to remove it to get to them. There are only 4 bolts to take off the skid plate and then 4 cam bolts to tighten. Easy job!
