IMG_5248.jpg So I'd been messing around with paracord, wrapping walking sticks and stuff while at the same time wishing I could find a (cool) functional way to wrap my steering wheel as well. I'm sure you can find it online, but I just alternated tying 5 over ( loop is between you and the wheel) and 6 under (wheel is between you the the loop) half hitch knots over and over again and using a ratchet motion to fasten each subsequent knot. Let me know what y'all think or any questions!

Alternatively, you could just wrap the same way the whole time and it would make a spiral helix the whole way

I think that looks outstanding. I have a walking stick I am going to make this winter. Maybe I will practice on that. Great job on the wrap!

I've found it easiest to spool the cord around something small so that you can control how much excess cord you're dealing with during knots and such. image.jpg
