Its trimmed a little in the front. Im pretty sure its just the little front mudflap and the regular mudflap removed and thats it. Like I said, its how I bought the truck so I could be missing something.

Just went through the whole thread, good info, and pics. If your in WA state, marshall fabrications in vancouver has some good slider and sliders with step options. Ill pull the trigger on some soon, and ill go with marshall to save on shipping.

Gonna post this here as well: but my CBI sliders line up like this on the front mount. Can that be right?

what is the added benefit of a kick up slider? I think I understand kick outs and they seem logical, is kick up the same thing but moves truck move upward instead?

DCBS. Going to use 2" sq tubing, 11 ga (.125" thickness) Right now I'm figuring on 1/4" plate "webbing". 1/4" mounting plates will weld to the frame for the outriggers to mount to. There will be a gusset from the outrigger to the frame mounting plate. It's on a 22 degree kick.

As far as projection off the frame, how far should functional sliders stick out past the body line? Preliminarily I measured 15" from the frame to the outside of the tube @ the straight part of the sliders, then the "kick" would project further. Along those lines: does anyone know the height difference from the bottom of the frame to the bottom of the opened doors?

    Why can't you measure it?

I can, just haven't gotten the level out yet. I will measure it myself before I fab anything but given the amount of people here who have fabbed their own, I figured it worth a shot to see what others have used as a datum.

I dont know, but they dont look like actual sliders. There isn't a whole lot of wiggle room between the top of the "slider" tube and the bottom of the cab.
