The same shit everyone else has.
Another reason I use ONR too. I think I base my product selection more on smell than I do actual results

I'm from CA so I've grown fond of this waterless wash/wax system from Meguires. When done correctly it safely lifts/removes dirt and leaves your paint feeling smooth leaving a coat of quick wax

I also always throw a solid coat of meguires wax on every 3-4 months for each season. Used to use Chemical guys products religiously (especially butter wet wax), but Meguires has some products that are just as good. Chemical guys is a lot of hype I've come to learn. Like the Herbalife of car detailing :jerkoff:

Meguiars really does have a solid line up of products. Both consumer and professional lines are top notch.

Well their polishes are pain in the ass. Had much better luck with Adams and Shine supply. I have found their consumer products just plain suck.

Although I don't care for Chemical Guys marketing strategy. I firmly believe they make better products for the money than Megs. Not to mention several of their products are concentrated so you end up with more product for the money compared to big box brands.

I've had really good luck with UC/UP. And ULW. Same with the Ultimate Quick Wax. I prefer using some other products at the moment, but these megs products are great IMO. Especially for the price.

For anyone that uses "Liquid Glass" brand polish, can this be applied to painted plastic surfaces such as bumpers? I also have the flat black hood scoop decal on my truck, would the Liquid Glass ruin this or any of the side bed decals on the truck?

I don't think it would leave a white residue on it like a traditional wax , BUT I surely wouldn't apply it to the plastic surfaces . I'm pretty sure this product is for paint only. I can read the back label later when I'm home to confirm .

Right on. I have the sport model so the plastic bits around the wheel wheels are painted not black like on the off roads. I wonder if a painted plastic surface would be OK, my guess is that it would be. The big thing I don't know about is if it would ruin that hood decal if I got some on there as it is flat black.

Ahhh I understand now . Yea you can apply it on the painted fender flares on the sport, SR5 and limited models . My first Tacoma was a 2016 Sport In black and I applied this stuff on everything that was painted . When ever I smudged my Black hood scoop decal it wouldn't leave a white residue but regular wax and polishes would . I now own a White 2017 Tacoma and I still use this stuff . I love it !

Ah, excellent. So even the hood decal is good to go if I should happen to graze it? Thank you sir.

Yea it should be fine but wipe it off as soon as you can . Most people would recommend taping off all plastic parts that can be stained by wax but I hardly ever do with this product. Try it out and let us know how it goes !

I'm becoming less of a fan of their Ultimate Compound. Either it's not strong enough to remove most of my swirl marks, or I might not be using a pad that's aggressive enough. :notsure:

I started using with Megs Mirror Glaze 205 and 105. Good products but a pain in the ass since you have to remove them after every step. At least the Adam's line you could work the product down to next to nothing and start the next product right on top. Eliminating removing the 1st product by hand.

I have since switch to Shine Supply Classic Cut. Works well as a 1 step product.
