Ok should I go with Bilstein 5100 set at the 2.5 inch setting with my current I'm coils. Or buy the 887 coils and set it at .85 ? Does anyone have an experience with the ride quality? Which is better?

Im extremely happy with the ride with my Bilsteins set at 2.5" on stock TRD SPORT coils. Invest in a set of UCA's, well worth every penny!

887's should only be set on the zero setting. They'll give you around 2.75"s of lift and ride smoother than your stock springs compressed. You will also need UCA'S.

I have the 887s with the Bilstein set at zero. excellent ride. Running 285 70 17s. Couldn't be happier

I like my 5100s set @0 with the 887 coils. Very nice ride on the road (haven't been off road except for sand).
I had my 5100s set @1.75 on stock coils before and thought it was a little stiff on longer drives. I think preloading your coils is a cost effective way of getting lift, but you do sacrifice some of the ride quality. With the OEM springs preloaded, the truck did corner flat and rarely had the nose dive when braking hard.

I have my 5100s set @1.75 on stock coils as well, levels out the truck and rides great, no complaints.
