    one mod at a time!
    so this is V series. Shell looks nice with the windoors. but i don't like the way it sit on the bed. I like the shell that will cover/hang in the bedsides. I will keep looking on used shell then. if I don't find a used one before the end of the month. I will pull the trigger for a new ARE CX with all options that i want. dealer qouted me $2300 OTD.

    Honestly, I don't think that's the right she'll for that bed - even if you removed the plastic, it still wouldn't even meet the edge of the metal bedside.

    It's the right shell. Mine has exactly the same fitment. The older shells were all made in this manner.

    It looks like it is not clamped straight to the bed. The tailgate end looks like it is 'inboard' on the bed. May be an easy fix, but maybe not.

    Just cut a memory foam pad to fit in there. I'm 5'9" and sleep with my legs bent anyway so when I sleep at slight angle my girlfriend 5'2" and I slept in there comfortably.

    No I threw that together ina few hours (rushed) so I could use it the following weekend after they installed the shell. For how few measurements I took I got really lucky and everything fit perfectly
