    Hi there everyone:
I'm new to this site and am happy to have stumbled upon it. I'm just a Tacoma enthusiast for the time being. However I am planning on becoming a taco owner in the near future. That's the reason that I signed up on this board...to try get some of the best, most informative and experience savvy taco owners' opinions on buying a new tacoma. I'm nearing the end of my career and am looking at buying a Tacoma p/u in retirement for hauling, towing and maybe some off roading. After doing much research of all the possible Tacoma trims out there, I've boiled my dream taco to having a v-6, Access cab, 4x4, and a tow package. I know that the SR5 and the TRD can both come w/ my stated dream trims. However, I have some concerns that I hope you, the Taco World Community, can help me with. 1) Is the SR5 tow package haul capacity less or the same as the TRD tow cap.? 2) Is the SR5, or the TRD, w/ the v-6 a decent highway cruiser? 3) Does the SR5 come w/ LED DRL's...or do they only come w/ the TRD? 4) Visibility Issue - Is there enough height adjustment in the driver's seat for my wife's mere 5' tall build to be able to see all of the road and drive safely when she gets behind the wheel? 5)What's the better add-on to help my wife and I to climb into our taco cab better: running boards or predator steps?
Thx. in advance for all your distilled wisdom and insight...it'll help us to make the best purchase decision concerning our future taco. Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Sincerely,
    VP

    1) They are the same.

    2) I travel in mine everywhere and enjoy it. 119,xxx miles so far. I like the SR5 seats better than the TRD seats.

    3) You must be referring to a 3rd gen tacoma. I have no idea.

    4) My wife is 4'11" and has no issues driving mine and it's lifted.

    5) If you are going to go offroad then rock sliders would be the better option.
