    How difficult would it be to convert the reverse light to a blinker and reverse light similar to what has been done in these tail lights? Honestly, for me, I would be happy rewiring the oem ones so that the reverse light and blinker were in the same housing and then made it so that the current blinker is tied to the brake light so that both turn and brake light up at the same time when brakes are applied.

    I would like to see how they did that. I do really like these taillights for sale here in this thread, but right now it's hard for me to drop that kinda cash on tail lights when I am still rocking oem wheels lol

    These are the ones I really want, but the amount for them is what's stopping me at this time. I think they are worth the cost for sure, but I want wheels first so I was hoping taking the oem tail lights and re-creating what you did in the reverse section, but not do the full on led swap. Does that make sense?

    Totally. The problem you are going to encounter if you want Turn AND Reverse in the same spot will be the hole opening. The factory reverse hole is only made for a size T10(921/194/etc)bulb. which is pretty small. Most every switchback bulb that can do white/amber will be a T20 size. AKA the hole in the housing will need some modification. Then the rest is just a little wiring.

    I figured that and I believe you or someone else mentioned that in another thread that I cannot find right now. I am totally ok with wiring/re-wiring and enlarging the hole. Where I lack confidence and skill is opening the assembly and modifying the insides like you did

    Did you use the V3 White Amber 3156 switchbacks for the reverse/turn signal?
