stupid question, did you spray the emblem then mask it off and spray the rest of the grille? I'm wanting to do the same just want to make the paint break as good as yours. Maybe the emblem pops out? I haven't looked too in depth at it. Thanks!

NOPE! remove the entire grill from your painted surround. unscrew the 8 screws in the back and CAREFULLY unclip the grill bezel and grill. then remove the emblem, there are two little tabs, again, CAREFULLY! paint the emblem whatever color, the grill and bezel another, let dry and reassemble. the key is a lot of LIGHT coats to avoid it gooping in all the nooks and crannies

    Update 8/26/17:

TRD Pro Grill w/ Super White Letters:

Got my TRD Pro Grill off of Amazon a couple of days ago! It arrived in perfect shape with no broken tabs or anything to worry about. I wanted white letters to match the paint much like I had on my stock derped grill. I got the duplicolor primer, 040 paint and clear for this project. I started by taking my girlfriends hairdryer and heating up the the adhesive so I could easily pop the letters off. Once this was done I scuffed them up with 220 grit sandpaper, rinsed them off and wiped them down with alcohol. The next morning I put two coats of primer down, four light coats of paint and two coats of clear. I let this dry for about 36 hours. I then reheated the adhesive with the hairdryer, stuck the letters back on and installed the grill onto the truck!

    Update 1/23/18:

Xenon Depot HIDs with 4300K Philips Bulbs:

This kit is sick! So much light!

Here is a full write up of my install process:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...hilips-4300k-bulbs-review-and-install.530187/

    HIDs no Fogs:

    HIDs with Fogs:

Super Bright LED Strips in Camper:
I purchased some very bright strip lights from Super Bright LEDs last fall and originally had all of them wired into individual 12V battery packs powered by AAs. While this worked and worked well, the batteries were failing fast due to all of the fluctuation in temperature I suspect. I reached out to @mattgecko and bought just the wiring harness from him and wired my strips directly to his harness and my truck battery. I opted to cut his crimps off and solder all of the connections but other than that, it was an extremely easy and clean install. In addition to soldering all of the connections, I also wrapped his harness in a heat shield as it has to run right next to the exhaust for the length of the truck. Below I have put some pics in to show how I ran all the wires in the cap.

    Driver Side Windoor:

Wire in heat shield running across headliner. I used small 1" x 1" adhesive zip tie anchors and removed the double sided tape and replaced it with industrial strength velcro.

This then got merged into the the passenger side LED strip. Both the passenger and driver side strip are run into the same heat shield but they are still wired individually to the switch where they were soldered in parallel.

Wires from the driver and passenger windoor run across the headliner to the tailgate in the same heat shield tube.

Merging point of the rear window and both windoors being run down to and behind the passenger side tail light.

To keep the wire out of my view when I look thought the rear window, I purchased a small 2" piece of steel, drilled a few holes to run a zip tie though and another hole to fasten it with a 1/4" x 20 nyloc nut.

Lastly, here is where I decided to mount my switch being that I have the drawers in my truck.

    And the output is unreal!
