5100 on all four corners, fronts set to "0", OME 885 coils, Toytec 2 in AAL
Ok, gonna do the 5100's set to 0 with the OME 885 coils. Doing the 2 inch AAL with no TSB in the rear. My question is, can I use the OME trim packer with the 5100's? The description on Toytec's site says to only use them with the OME shocks. Or should I just get the 1/4 inch top spacer?

Also, the trim packer says it lifts 5mm? Am I reading that correctly? That's not even a quarter inch. the top plate is supposed to give about 1/2 inch.

No you can not combine the trim packer with the 5100s. The trim packer goes between the welded bead and spring seat on the OME shocks...there is no equivalent spot on the 5100s.

And yes...It's a pretty minimal spacer (the spacer is 5mm) but the positioning (inside the strut instead of on top of it) creates the lift.

To add to this, you can use the 1/4" top spacer to get similar results.

Thanks guys. That is what I thought. But Toytec also advises against using the OMe coils and 5100's. I didnt know if was the same thing or not.

While I got you here Chris, how much lift should I expect with the above set up? I have searched like crazy. it seems the more I search the conflicted the answers are. Some say just over 2 inches, others say close to 3. That is a pretty big difference.

    BTW, I have a 09 DCSB Prerunner.

Depends on teh springs used. The 884's will give about 2", or a little over, while the 885's are gonna give 3" .

I'm going 885's. Got a good deal on a set here. Was going to do the Eibachs, but couldn't pass these up. If I get just under three, i will be very happy. I know I am right on the bubble for UCA's. I will add them of needed. Thanks for your help, both direct and indirect. I have read a BUNCH of your posts while researching the set up I want.

Yeah, If you lift over 2", your gonna need different UCA's to get teh alignment good.

Over 2 or 3 inches? I thought 3 was the magic number.

Over 2", and it becomes more difficult to get the Caster and Camber in check. It can be done, but its near the minimums. By 2.5" to 3", your down to less than a degree of Caster, and the Camber is being pushed out to account for it.

Ok, so I want to install a leveling kit, and after researching here, decided on 5100s with OME 884s, and an aal. So I ordered them through a offroad shop, that supposedly knows this stuff, cause I don't. First they sent me 885 coils, and I sent them back, no biggie. Then when I was ready to install it, booked the day off, went to my buddies garage, and he found out the springs were too long, and I had to send them back.
When we measured the height, the drivers side was 1/2" lower than passenger, so since I was returning the springs, I asked them what spacer I needed to add to the passenger side, they said they would send me one with the springs. I had no idea what to get, so I just figured they would know.
Anyway, they came in yesterday, and I see it's the 5mm trim packer. So now I see this won't work with my setup. So what do you guys suggest I get? I just want to get this stuff installed, this has been going on for 2 months now.
