yeah it looks good. they cleaned off the work area.
i don't have the excess gasket goop coming from
the rear end that others have reported.
my truck just needs a good cleaning now.
i noticed a lot of tacomas at the mapunapuna
    and waipahu lot yesterday.

i managed to put 2.4k miles on the rental truck.

thanks for the input. im glad youre not reporting the same mess that others are mentioning on the main post on the main board. Windward servco has a ton of tacomas as well (more than i saw last week). A co-workers husband handed over his taco about 4 weeks ago and his patience is worse than mine. Plus hes not a fan of his hyundai that he got from Enterprise.

His wife told me he wants to pay the service dept at windward a visit "to pick up sunglasses left in the truck" but really he wants to do a "welfare check" on his vehicle. Hes mad and he even invited me to go with them. I just might go for the hell of it.

You gotta do it. I am about at 500 miles for 11 days. I didnt even eat in my truck. Not only am I eating, in my CRV loaner, im putting on miles, giving my mutts rides with no seat covers, im driving all over...heading to the North Shore is on the list of things to do as well. If this goes on for a long time I might become and uber driver.

Im fortunate that I really do not "need" a truck right now and the CRV suits all my needs plus I get decent MPG. Gut feeling is that it is going to be awhile

I have my appointment at Waipahu the second week in August, does that mean they are going to hold my truck hostage also? I have weeping so I know it will need to be fixed....I am scheduled for a loaner, but how long is the wait now that parts are coming in?

I am at 3 weeks. I have a coworkers husband who dropped of his truck a week before so he's at 4 weeks. We both have our trucks at Windward Servco. I was told 3 weeks when i dropped my truck off (which has come and gone). Im assuming my co workers husband is going to get his serviced first because he was there a week before me. Hopefully in August the process speeds up but im not holding my breath.

Make sure you get a loaner to your liking and needs. Enterprise told me the rental was "open" and the manager of the Kaneohe Enterprise told me I could take any car on their lot. I only had 6 to choose from but took the CRV with only 2000 miles on it.

Thanks for the 411. I made my appointment 2 months ago hoping the parts issues would have gotten better, also that was the first available time a service loaner would have been available.

I was in for my last free service today and the guys said getting the recall kits in from Toyota has been a nightmare. Good thing I have an Off Road 4x4 that's not affected.. yet.

Anyone got their truck back that was waiting for the recall to be done and where on Oahu did you go and how long did you wait before getting it back?
