exactly. asking for help doesn't make you weak.. it makes you Human.

my Dad was stubborn.. as all of us Moses' are.. and that was his major downfall.. he didnt want help, he didnt want people to know, he was silent and introverted.. and im sure just feeding on it by himself. thats why im mad at him.. i know it was because he was stubborn.. didnt want to seem weak and wanted to save his dignity. I wish he would of just sucked it up and talked to me..

Dam brother. I had to pull over. You have me in tears right now. I had a uncle that put a 9mm through his head. My grandfather on my dads side cut his own throat after staging my grandmother in the chest. I was 16 and she died in my arms. I blamed him at first but then I found out that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's the week before. it seems that we all have a lot more in common that just Tacomas.

My dad was a stubborn son of a Bitch as well. We'll never know if he went off the road on purpose or if it was an accident. I'm pretty stubborn myself but with all the shit I've been through I've learned that there is always alternatives and the road to recovery can be hard as Fuck but asking for help isn't weak. It takes a strong man to reach out and ask for help, advice, support, etc.

I've shed tears with many of you on here. Tears over my shit and or their shit. Everyone has baggage. It's how we deal with it that makes the difference. I I learned a long time ago, "WE" dealing with it makes the difference. So, those of you who really know me, you get to help with my luggage as TW is my local family. You folks get me over a hump here and there when I just can't do it myself. We all want to be tough and capable of doing everything ourselves, and in all honesty, I can, as most people can. The question is why should we when we don't have to. I can easily say 2015/16 was the worst years of my life.... well let's go with hardest years of my life. It is still unbelievable how the course of my life has changed, and though I didn't think it would, it has changed me as well. Small stuff just doesn't matter. I live for today, and try to be a better human every day... even with my latest antics, I am careful not to lead on, lie to, or toy with my "friends" hearts. The year could have been so much worse without the TW community.

It's good to share brother. This helps me. We are all human and this is life, nobody gets out alive. While we're here, all we can do is be the best men we can be and support each other. Nobody is here alone.

Today is all that matters my friend, tomorrow is a new day. I consider everyone here my friends and wouldn't hesitate to drop anything if need be and be there.

I feel like I'm back in a 12 step program lol. This is so much more than a Tacoma group. This is a family.

The people here are amazing. My father, mother, and sister are all in the hospital for different ongoing health issues, this has been a rough summer here too. I come here just to get my mind off things and always end up laughing or help/get help from someone for some random thing. Life is strange sometimes, we all need some help at one point or another

It's crazy to me how even though we are in such a big group conversations like this show that we are all going through issues and we all need support. I have been on many different forums and never been a part of anything like this one. Back in January a good friend/co worker took his own life and we were all so angry about it, he never showed any signs of internal struggles he was happy all the time and would go out of his way to help everyone. It was very hard to understand why he did it after reading some of the things on here it helps me understand how important opening up is. I am glad to be part of this group and if anyone ever needs anything I am here no matter what.

I think the AZ bond seems somewhat stronger than the SC crew. Mind you, I love my SC people. But there's an overall tighter bond with y'all.

This week has been the worst week so far this year. Sick dog for a few days. Been sleeping on the couch and waking up every other hour. Went to the vet for a few hours this morning. Hoping her treatment/meds kick in and things get back to normal so we can run away to mountains for hammock and hikes sometime this weekend.

    :help:
I'll be looking for vet recommendations on the west side early next year.

Is that a vet bone in her mouth? Shit mine wont touch those when we go to the vet. I typically have to put it in my pocket and wait to get home.
