by passing dvd player ???

    hey i just purchased a clarion vx400 and im trying to figure out how i can by pass the dvd player from only watching it in park to watching it while in drive? for road trips with friends... thanks, if it helps i have a 06 black tacoma trd 4 door.

    Bilstein 5100-Front (1.75"), Pop N' Lock Tailgate, Rear Leaf TSB MR. Marv custom box and amp rack, JL 13TW-5, Memphis Audio Amps and Door Speaker, JVC DVD DD HU, Wet Okole, Weathertech Mats, Bed Mat
    Just ground the wire that is supposed to go to your parking break. If I recall, it is a blue wire, but double check that.

    I had to trick my dvd player. The 2 wires that go to the parking brake, I tied them in to a toggle switch. When i put in a DVD it says i cant watch it while driving, but all i do is flip the switch off/on. The player thinks i have engaged my brake.

    i=13 miles currently @ 75,500 miles
    Vehicle:

    front baja bbq hoop bumper and rear allpro bumper, URD SCIII,urd short throw & stg IIIclutch combo kit w/throwout, DDM Hid 4000k, icon frt (coil overs)& rear shocks (piggy back rez)& add a leaf.
    i tapped it into the red ignition wire in my truck. if that doesn't work try tapN into the ground wire. Black wire.

    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    Same exact thing I did to my old Alpine IVA-D900...not with my Eclipse AVN-726E tho. That was easier.

    Sure it is, but cell phone usage while driving is illegal in some states but it doesn't prevent people from using them.
