Thanks! Antennas arrived today. Way too hot mess with it now, but I will when it cools off a bit. 102f here today. :(

Not smoking, but cast iron seared ENORMOUS chuck. It is the last piece of beef left from the 1/3 cow my wife and I bought a while back.

I bought a copper one a couple weeks ago. Love it. The premium ash catcher is totally worth it. I replaced an 8 year old kettle with it that had the pie pan style ash catcher.

Damn it! Been thinking of picking up a Jumbo Joe for when I go camping during grouse season. Keep going back and forth on it and really need another 18" WSM dedicated for smoking fish. But with this I could I could say the hell with the JJ and replace my old one on the deck and use that for camping. And am headed to HD tomorrow to pick up some things anyhow to try and keep my yard from flooding away. Thanks for posting this, I think...

One Touch Gold for the win which this appears to be. Mine replaced an old silver like you describe and will never go back at least for using several times a week. The OTG has gone through a cast iron grate and 2 plated grates over the last 6 years. Everything else is appears to be about brand new.

Yeah they changed their naming a few years back from gold to premium. It has the heat deflector on the lid handle. I don't remember if the gold had that. The side has 2 handles opposite of each other with tool hooks built in.

Anybody using the Pit Barrel Company grill? Heard and read some good reviews. Seems pretty legit, just worry about cooking/smoking at 300*

Just a couple smoke sessions I've been up to during my TW absence. Smoked and grilled more than just these, just haven't had the phone handy before everyone ate it all.

i plan on making chipotles with all of my jalapenos after they turn red. it takes forever to get them to dry out. i wish i had a dehydrator. i'd smoke them for long enough to get some smoked flavor and then finish them on the dehydrator.
