No vacuum

    We have a 97 Tacoma ranch truck. the engine was replaced less than 5000 miles ago. it stumbles on acceleration and has no power. also the brake pedal it hard. i pulled the vac. hose at the booster and nothing
    any ideas?

    With the engine running, at idle, there should be 18 to 20 inHg vacuum at the booster vacuum hose. Connect a vacuum gauge to a direct manifold test port and compare the readings to this chart:

    V6 or 4cyl?
    Could have a cam timing issue.
