Could be like the norm around here and go with KO2 for about $186 for the same tire size from Costco.

No one will do it reasonably because they know that they can rob islanders because everyone else is doing it too.

How big of mpg drop are you guys getting from running these? The stock SL tires are pretty light, and there aren't many of tires I like in a C load.

Thanks for the comments. Even though its been said prolly a thousand times. currently on average getting 19.5-21mpg

I'm boosted and live just under a mile above sea level. So with 33s and armor it is pretty bad. 10-12 mpg. A little better on the highway.

On good days I'm still getting 18-19mpg. That is mostly highway trips.

255/85 and getting around 20-21 mpg mostly highway and around 18 normal commute tanks. (hand calc and adjusted for larger tires) Not too bad. Or at least I'm happy with it.

Need some help on road noise:

I'm on my second tire rotation and at 10k miles on 255/80/17 st maxx's.

The noise has gone up considerably since I rotated, and I'm currently getting my alignment checked out (lifetime firestone alignments ftw!)

The noise / frequency is such that my overhead console rattles, as well as other various plastic pieces in my truck.

I run a stiff suspension (886s) up front and 35 psi all around. Treadwear looks even as far as I can tell. Will post new alignment specs when finished.

    Any advice would be great!

Only pic I have with my tire:

    Update:

    IMG_2749.jpg

After the alignment it "feels" less noisy overall. I think I might play with tire pressure and see if that effects the road noise. These tires were so quiet 10k miles ago! I know it's something in my setup haha

I'm at 14.7mpg with my Ultragauge calibrated for fuel tank and distance with 3" OME lift all around, stock sport rims, and 255/80r17

No armor yet and no winch but got a Pelfrebilt bumper and Smitty 10k winch on the way

Yeah, I couldn't pass them up at that price. I just happened to look at this thread and skipped on over to Amazon and they still had them on sale. It said only 2 in stock so I figured it was a good enough deal that Id order the 2 and pick the other 2 up from Discount Tire Direct. But, right after I ordered I saw they were still listed as in stock so I ordered 2 more. Didn't count on it going though but just got shipping confirmation so it looks like I'm good to go. And, not long after ordering they went back up to $186.

255/85r16 on stock wheels. About 19psi in this. Front is nice and squishy. Peace of mind with the armor Tek side wall.20170725_101523.jpg
Only lost one mud flap today. I guess they're not rock flaps.

Have your tires checked for balance or out of round issues.

Get them balanced again? I can do that!

My trucks pulls to the right, even after the alignment. Even on roads that bank left, that normal?

Check your tie rod end. Sometimes if they are old/bad you can't get a good alignment.

I really don't have time to look through 209 pages of info lol. Can someone tell me their experiences with these tires on snow or ice?

This is what I'm dealing with. I love the tires but this pulling is getting old...and the vibes.
