Idk the size, but I just went to autozone and bought the type of trim that goes around door edges that you see on old people's cars. It has 3m tape built into it so that it sticks good

    Everything TW members recommend
I didn't do edge trim. I just painted the raw, cut edges.
I kinda feel that since the cut is horizontal, any edge trim will hold moisture and accelerate rusting. Just a personal, unsubstantiated theory of mine.

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
I didn't think about that, good point. I was thinking of maybe squirting some silicone goo in when I installed it which would help with that hopefully.

    Hope this helps...

1 plate that goes on your slider locking pin so you can easily remove it and touch it up with paint.

2 plates go with your support brackets to support your frame from the inside.

2 plates support the front end brace of your bumper.

    Gloss black and gloss clear?
    Satin black and satin clear?

My case is a lot different than probably anyone here on TW. So my wait time wouldn't really help you. You get what you pay and wait for, for a one man operation, idk how his wait times aren't longer

Yeah I think I am going to go and return the gloss paint and see if they have satin

HAHAHA Oh I know! Just bought 12 cans of etching primer, satin black, and satin clear....

I have HC rear swingout, Sliders, Bed cage, and front bumper with hoops

@HAVING FUN is gracious enough to let me use his place to paint them. What all prep work did you do before painting and what did you paint with? Have any pics?

Don't be telling everyone, my IB will be blowing up for help. LOL.

Dane, another thing, if the metal still has a film of oil on it, might want to pu some cleaner. Paint gun cleaner, buddy used (Sherwin Williams ATX) on mine. sprayed on and evaporated dry (like brake cleaner).
