    so i wanna do the a pillar ram mount, but I need a usb port on that side. whats everyone's recommendations? i saw some on Amazon, but they had mixed reviews. I don't want something that is going to burn down the truck.

    I've had this one for 3 years now I used industrial strength velcro to hold it down by the drivers side above the floor. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PB8CQI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    I have one usb cable going up the A pillar and the RAM mount. I only use that one for the Garmin Alpha if I have to track one of the dogs from the truck and run the external antenna out the window.

    Don't need all the maps when I'm back in Pa. hunting. I know where the roads go in Potter, Tioga and Bradford counties LOL. Kind of sucks with all the fracking now a lot of them are paved and everyone else knows them too. But not all of them...
