True, that would entail following a team that becomes extinct like the Thrashers.

 

Since Pittsburgh won't be going anywhere for a long long long time they might as well bring back Jaromir ygr after all he did help with a cup there that'd be a good way for him to close out his career where he began.

 

I wouldn't say that. As long as that core is together (Sid, Geno, Letang, Kessel, Murray) then that window is still open to make a run. A dark time is looming, once Sid and Geno start to really drop off but we haven't hit that point yet.

And @pittim I love that pic. I was pumped that they recreated the old photo like that. Pens fans are lucky, no matter what. Some really awesome players /teams in Pittsburgh in my lifetime, so I won't complain.

 

That's what I thought with LA, then again we all know they're the real Champs in 2013 and it was the NHL conspiracy keeping them from that 3-peat

If they would've also won in '13 that would've been incredible. And just seeing what has happened with them since that last Cup makes you realize how hard it is to actually win it. Some bad luck and just some struggles etc. So the fact you won 2 in 3 years and almost 3 straight is super impressive. That is why when people say that the Pens are done or whatever, how can I be mad? And you can say the same.

I think these guys that are fans of Edmonton and Toronto will probably get to experience something similar in the next 10 year span, so it's cool for them. Enjoy it.

 

A Leafs Oilers final within the decade would make Canada pretty happy. Especially when Edmonton wins!
