My vacuum box stays on while the truck has been off. But you can hear it running. Dose anyone know why this is?

'Stays On?" You mean you can hear a slight vacuum escaping from it? That's normal.
Try shutting of the engine & moving the vent levers from say cold to hot. You might hear the vent door opening and closing as you move the control knob. Then it will stop moving when you run out of stored vacuum.

Yah they make stupid noises all the time from expansion. Mine does it even with the engine not attached.
