imho the best Canon tele zoom is the EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS (either hte original or II version). that bugger is amazingly sharp.

Canon and Nikon have really good 70-200/2.8's-there's not a lot of difference between the two. I'm not sure there's a difference any one of us would notice in many of the more common lenses as well.

But if you're choosing a new system, find the one that has the best lenses for you and get that body. Whatever it is.

Not set on Nikon. Just set out with a budget and started reading reviews. That lead me to the 6D and D750. On bh photo, the bodies and kit lense is a similar price. Everything pointed to the 750 being better than the 6D.

I'm just looking around. I am putting a little money aside for this purchase...whenever that may happen.

    Nice pics!

If you don't already have it, get the LEE Stopper App. It works pretty slick!

I'm trying to increase my lens count for my a7r and do not mind using other lens manufacturers. I have never had a problem with these and photos turned out great. Just looking for information and feedback. My budget tends to be about $1500 and always open for ideas.

    I currently have:
    Prime 55mm f1.8
    28-70 f2.8-5.6
