Lol when I got home I knew I was upgrading my brakes and redoing one of my inner tierods so I pressured washed the entire truck including the undercarriage and engine and ran a garden sprinkler underneath the entire undercarriage for an hour so no mud remnants on my truck no more . Plus while I'm doing all the work on the brakes and tierod I am taking advantage of repainting most of my undercarriage and brakes and other parts . Truck has been up on Jack stands since Monday, probably won't be finished with it whole job till this weekend . Oh and I'm painting my rims also which takes allot of prep work and a couple of days to cure and dry .

My truck was an Phoenix az truck the first 10 years of its life 0 rust , been here now for 3 , 0 rust , so I am going to do my best to try to keep it that way . I started to do fluid film last winter . I am going to keep this truck until it's last dying breath even if I get another daily driver .

To funny , ditto !!! Brian @greengen1 thinks I will have a rust bucket in a few years like his Runner but i made him a bet and this is what i told him , if i have more rust then you in a couple more years I will buy you a nice juicy hooker but if you have more rust then me then you owe me a brand new Tacoma . His response was sending me a pic of a matchbox Tacoma and said that that would be the only thing he would be able to affored . Thats what i thought I said. Lol

Anyone have any recommendations for belt tensioner, and pulleys? Or should I just go OEM?

I would go OEM. Especially with the tensioner. You don't want to redo the job.

But it doesn't put down the immense power that the v6 does, so i'm sure you'll be fine. :p

So in my research, i've come up with a plan. I'm going to order the mishimoto trans cooler with fan. I'm going to see where all i have room to mount it, hopefully where it won't get fucked up by mud/water/snow/ice.

I'm going to have my transmission serviced again. So i know i'm not having any contamination.

My understanding to run the cooler in series is that I want the trans feed line to run into the radiator, then have the return line come from the radiator to the top of the aftermarket fluid cooler, then the return fluid feed line back to the transmission hard return line under the motor.

    My next questions are:

Won't this cooler increase my trans fluid level?
How will I know how much it increases?
Does the trans fluid cooler get primed with fluid?

Also, i'm going to wire the fan on the cooler with its own relay and switch.

If the cooler with the fan won't fit, i'll have to go with one of their smaller models.

I still want to keep lots of space for my future lightbar activities
