Pretty sure coilovers will swap over with the right top hat.

Anyone have experience with 1st gen "performance" clutches? Ive been on the fence but thinking about pull thing the trigger on one of the LCE performance ones. My last ebay one (F1 perf.) held up decent for a few years but was always a soft pedal and chattered alot. Trying to stay under the $400 mark.

Definately a pain. I think I'm gonna have to get custom tube layout. I think you can clock fox's but I need to double check. Def no room for 3.0 :bananadead:

The bed is plenty strong. When I do bedsides and rtt I am going to use large 3-4" angle iron that will bolt to the factory bed rails but have the weight distributed across the top. Though this will only work for flat top bedsides, not tt style.

I would definitely not sit anything on top of a fiberglass bedside... rtts are heavy, and the amount of stress it puts on the bedsides when your mobbing around. Need to have something tie into the bed bolts for sure. I know people have done it, but they are just asking for a cracked bed and fenders imo.

@erok81 Having done it already, I can tell you that the bed gets a little weaker without the metal bedsides on it. I mounted a Go Pro to bed rails I had my RTT mounted to, and all the footage was so shaky I couldn't use it, while everything shot when it was mounted to my sliders was smooth as butter. When I installed the Bed Supports I had to push one side over a hair to get it to bolt up, I'm assuming it had spread out a little from having the RTT weight on it and blasting through Pismo. Would highly suggest some sort of bed rack that sits in the bed, not on the rails. Alternatively I was looking in to building some frame supports underneath the glass to support it so I could put a shell on top and not have to worry about cracking the glass or the bed.

I would be interested to see how this works out. I think Im going to continue with my bed bolt mounted bed rack though.

Nothing a bro fears more than cracked glass!

Im the opposite, because of my SUA Im trying to keep my RTT on there all the time. But at the same time, an RTT weighs alot more than just a cap. I would consider this route if a cap is all you are putting on.

I know their older all pro design was not good which got redesigned. Could be worth checking depending on price? I have heard hit or kiss things about their LT kit though.

It's a decent kit if you're wheeling. Not my first, second, or third choice if you're trying to go fast

He had some problems in the beginning which I think he chronicles in his build thread. I'm not sure what would apply to the more recent version or the one you're looking at. Maybe he'll have more details about it.

Wheel bearing? Grab your tire and pull it towards you and push it away from you rapidly, see if you hear the hub thumping.
