I just did a run from Show Low,AZ to Atlanta and back. Average mpg in a 06 PreRunner with 147,000 miles on the truck was 23mpg. Typically 65-70 on the I-40. Down south I was close to 25mpg, but climbing back to New Mexico it drops to about 20. All stock except for a protop shell.

I'm really proud of The Beast. She is SuperCharged with the 2.85 pully. When I first got her I was getting 12-13mpg but now that I'm starting to behave myself she is around 15.5 city and 17.8 on the open road. I didnt think numbers like that were possible on a supercharged truck.

About 19.5 with no mods other than tonneau cover. Actually happy with that. Commute 42 miles one way. Mostly highway.

I stopped calculating because I'm around 14-15mpg 90% stop and go city. A lot of my drives are 10 miles round trip. AC is almost always on.

My old 06 Prerunner AC TRD OR with 265/75/16s I got 17mpg no matter how I drove it. Granted I tend to drive 8-10 over the limit. So 80 on the highway.
My new 13 4x4 AC TRD OR with 265/70/16s I got 18mpg on the first tank I had it. Then switched to 265/75/16s and been getting 17mpg again. Most of my driving is commuting.

I recently put 265/75-16 BFG's KO2 10-ply on my Tacoma. I was getting around 20mpg. It has dropped to 18mpg since.

When i drove to Moab in October, I maintained the posted speed limit (75-80mph most of the way) and got a stellar 11mpg the entire 1000 mile round trip. I did a trip to Ouray last week, which is mostly the drive to Moab. I maintained around 70mph the whole drive since i had 9 days off work and to my surprise I got 15.8 and 15.9mpg on my two fill ups going up. Here is my theory as to my increased mpg:

The intake recirculation valve on the URD supercharger was the reason i'm getting terrible highway mileage. The valve is plumbed into the intake piping and is actuated by vacuum. When cruising, vacuum pulls the valve open and forced air from the supercharger is bypassed back to the filter. Engine will only use as much air as engine needs. Under boost, the valve closes and rams ALL THE BOOST into it. 8-9PSI.

Disconnected the vacuum line from the recirculation valve. Cruising with the closed valve will force more supercharger air into the engine. Engine no longer has to "pull" its own air in. As a result of no vacuum line, under boost, intake pressure pushes the valve open and I only get 3-4psi of the 8-9psi due to a "boost leak".

I have since capped the recirculation valve and now there's no chance for the valve to accidentally push open. I did notice that she's got a little more pep in her step. While cruising around a couple days ago, I managed to find myself on a highway in Mexico and did more than hold my own against a 65 Mustang with a healthy sounding 289 from 40-100mph............
