Installing component speakers, do I ignore stock tweeter wiring?

    Installing JBL 6.5" components. I bought the Metra speaker wiring adapters. However, they don't fit the tweeter wiring. I'm running both speakers off the crossover anyways. Can I just ignore the tweeter wiring and use the woofer wiring as input to the crossover?
