I've had mine for three years and I'm still organizing. I feel like each time I come up with something different to use and a new way to make things easier to set up and pack up. Good luck!

I imagine you peeked under the camper at the suspension. Can we do an AAL or a shackle lift in the future if you need a few more inches out of the suspension? Some matching tires as the truck would be awesome.

Yes sir and we plan on going as soon as we can! Folks have asked why such a small camper? Well it's just us, it tracks rt along with the truck, it's all we need, it would be difficult to get anything bigger down trails, and most importantly the truck is only a 4cyl with pretty much full armor and heavy assed tires it's challenged enough already. Overall I'm happy with the truck and with some good guidence by @TacoFMS have made it capable of going pretty much the places i want to go. Are there still things I want to do to it? sure but all in time. I set aside some of those things for now to get this thing and have it allow the 2 of us to get out there and enjoy life some. The kids are grown so it's our turn

Don't feel too bad. Us V6 folks can't pull much bigger trailers either. LOL

You know damn good and well I looked under the camper. Hell I was laying under it all morning running a damn wire and changing the hookup. It has a trsion bar suspension which I believe is just a matter of tightening it and it raises it. No color matched wheels to the truck I don't think the white would look good on the trailer but I may bed line the fenders black and the lower front of the camper as a rock guard

Reindexed keys & lift that mo'fo!

The bed lined parts will add to a rugged look and keep it looking good for years.

Yeah put 255s on it like the truck and i'll need a ladder to get in it lol. I still haven't figured out AT tires on a trailer unless they are the same size tire and same wheels as truck so you can rotate all of them

I knowI know, practicality first looks second lol. My imagination is going crazy & I want one. Then I remember our weather & terrain is not the best for camping :angrygirl:

Chris, You said the cricket was somewhat more expensive did it have that much more room and functionality to off set that cost?

After looking at the pics of yours and the cricket online I'm thinking not.

Yes actually it does it's size is decieving in pictures. Plus an indoor kitchen with space for a pottie and I believe shower hook ups and the new ones have a duel LP setup for hot water cooking, and ambient heat. A much larger functional seating area and larger sleeping area and with the addition of being able to raise the roof much more headroom and 1 person can do it easily

Mine came with RTT (Tepui) and ARB awning, a watersport vehicle water supply. Ron Hoover in Houston has the best deals in the country on these.

I just got home a little while ago where I could look at the pics on a computer. It looks great with the rtt and really adds alot of room. I guess the rtt could be used for additional sleeping or as regular sleeping and the interior as living space either way cool as hell. Ours is a left over 2016 so all said and done we got it for 1/3rd off. There are a few differences like the fenders being bare aluminum ( I may bedline them), no side step on the driver's side (already talking to them about rdering 1), our water jug goes in the pull out with a hand pump ( already asked about possibly adding the one mounted to the back panel), Ours didn't have the little brackets under the lid to set it further back and allow you to cook and have the compatment open (already ordered), and it ony came with the rear stabalizers so I got them to add front ones as part of the deal so now 4 stabalizers. These things are so cool I can't wait to get out there and play with it more tomorrow. We did pick up a queen sized mattress topper I'm going to trim it tomorrow to match the cushions and maybe sleep in it tomorrow night.

Also available are mesh doors. They are on back order about 6 weeks right now. There is a forum on the www.Taxaoutdoors.com website that has some good info and a good place for people to share.

The prices are interesting. We got ours essentially fully loaded, the only option it didn't have was the privacy shelter (100 bucks at REI) and a GPS security thing. We got it for a few grand less than what others are selling the basic model for even without the tent, awning, air conditioner etc.
