    I've worked on both engines and driven both. You cant beat the ford inline 6. It is a torquey steady engine that never stops.

    The jeep 4.0 is also solid but I find they just spew oil from every port. Lol

    What I was eluding to was that there were 2 wrecked/totaled GEN 2 V-6 Tacos, at a big salvage yard near me. Stopped in after the fact and asked about them. Seems like some guy from out of state bought both. They told me that he was swapping the motors into GEN 3 Tacos. Will be looking on TW for any posts on a engine swaps. I personally would go with something with a little more beef !!
