No kidding I did not try sushi till I was 45 !! Was never going to try this crap !! Then I did . Good thing Las Vegas had many many great sushi places !!!

Good evening, got 2 showers in today from working outside plus a 45 minute nap. Just got back from the movies with my oldest son he paid for me to see Dunkirk. Not a bad movie, not great but certainly good. First movie been to since The Finest Hours last year. That makes 2 movies in 5 years now I'm on a roll. But got to spend some good time with my son.

 

You need to stop by the house . I can catch you up on a bunch of movies !! Fresh popcorn full bar candy bars under the glass and ice cream !!

Thanks for the offer! Yeah I am setup here for movies and watch them at the house which is why I guess don't go to the big screens anymore. Although my 50" plasma is small by today standards. Now they say if it is small enough to fit through the door it is too small

My AV receiver is getting dated but Denon amps and Polk Towers go together with Zeppelin and Floyd pretty well, at least to me. For movies my Velodyne sub cross over is set for max LFE and it is tuned for music with the touch of a button. At zero refrence the LFE is pretty impressive I had a retired Velodyne engineer help me with selection and placement. He did well.



And of course 2 X 25 pound bags of lead shot under each tower in the front for vibration isolation. With the cost of lead today I could sell them and upgrade everything LOL.

 

That's why I have my room! I only go to movies when Karen really really really wants to go!!!

 

I was gonna suggest that. They make small table top ones you could set up where he likes to sleep. Happy to hear he's ok.

evening boys.... grass cut!!!! Man it was icky out. and long nap. didn't intend to sleep/be lazy that long, but just couldn't get moving.

Some sushi isn't bad. My son took me out for sushi one night and it wasn't bad. I like a nice steak better, but it was decent.
