I'll update tomorrow morning, but I'll do something similar to what friendlywithbears shared pics of. I haven't cut anything yet. I wonder if I could cut the cab mount without welding until the cmc plate arrives :notsure:

I'm pretty sure you don't NEED cmc plates, but in your case its probably smart to wait to cut right before you weld the plate on so you don't rub your tires on sharp, bare metal

According to this you're probably not rubbing on any suspension parts, but with that -12 offset you have pushed your tires out almost 2" more than stock so you're probably rubbing on fender but idk

In other words "thanks but I'm going to live with my decision of immobilizing my daily driver for the sake of big tires and cool wheels before I have this sorted out".

My suggestion keeps you driveable at least til you get the parts together. But hey, it's your truck, hack away at will.

You can try changing the wheels to something similar in width and offset to the Tacoma 16 inch PRO wheels and do some molding like @KDRacing did in post #10 of this thread.

He's running 33's on a stock suspension and has a great video to show what he did.

    Good luck!

That is very informative graph, could you repost with a 75 aspect ratio?

I think there is a little bit of miscommunication here. In your first post when you said go LT then decide on tires/wheels later, I was under the impression you thought I hadn't already got the wheels/tires. My big fault in this is running a wheel with a offset and diameter that no one has done on stock suspension (that I've seen). I am actually taking your advice and putting the stock tires back on. Will move forward once the cmc arrives.

Thought your goal was LT all along... if so then build that first before trying to fit the tires and wheels you selected for it on stock or interim suspension, especially if your goal is something no one has done yet.

My second post was to give you an alternative to run the bigger tire that you have with a black wheel combo that might work anyway to keep you on the road til you get your suspension plan up and running with the new wheels.

Nothing wrong with going stock til you get your plan together. Doing it piecemeal just brings problems later.

Bought a torque wrench today to put the stock wheels on correctly and it turns out the wrench didn't work! One snapped wheel stud and I assume I torqued past yield on the rest of the studs on that hub. I tightened the rest correctly but have 1 hub that only has 5 nuts that may be weakened. Need my truck for work tomorrow and scared as hell this tire is going to come off before I get it fixed. Hopefully a shop can take it in and finish it tomorrow while I'm at work. Damn you shitty new tool manufacturers!
