Regarding my specific truck, I had vibration at take off, at 22-25, and at 70-75. All from the factory, all stock. An identical truck at the dealership did the same. I was not aware of this issue until after I bought the truck. I needed a truck, I bought what I thought was the best available. Tacomas had the best reviews.
Under the recommendation of some members here, I had the leaf spring TSB done, but the 20mph vibration got worse. All other vibes persisted.
Took it to the dealer and they said it's normal.
I did some research and saw that leveling the truck might help. I installed 5100's up front. It softened the 20mph vibration but the other ones persisted.
Took it to the dealer again. Normal, they said, but shame on me for swapping out stock parts. Asked about the 15-25mph TSB and was told my truck doesn't apply.
Then I had my wheels rebalanced. Then a forth alignment since new and second since the 5100's were installed. Nothing helped.
I then replaced the stock rugged trails with BFG AT's. 20mph vibration got worse, but the take off vibe improved.
Then I read weight might help. Loaded up the bed. Problem persisted.
Here I am.
As you can see, I have gone through considerable lengths to address the issue on my own, on my own dime, on a 1 month old truck. I don't perform the work because I know nothing about mechanics, so I pay for the work. I also don't have time, nor need to "learn about my vehicle". That's what my warranty is supposed to cover.
Not everyone has a thing for working on their cars. I wish I did have time, but I barely have time for more important things, much less my vehicle.
I'm actually moving to Canada in a week and I would have had nothing to gain from a class action. Just wanted to help you guys, and future owners from having to go through what I went through.
Clearly there's something out of the box that causes vibration, and through the ingenuity of members here, some fixes have been discovered. Still, Toyota should fix the inherent issue, rather than passing the problem off to us.

my question to you is DIDNT YOU FUCKIN TEST DRIVE? if not your a dumb ass if so YOUR A DUMB ASS why wait until after you have signed the shit to cry about so vibration if it was me i would have test drove MULTIPLE trucks and then asked "hey why does it vibrate att 20-25 and 70-75? if i wasnt happy with the answer i WOULDNT have bought the truck, now then quit crying like a pansy drop some coin get it fixed and move the fuck out, i have soldiers over here in the stan that get shot and dont cry as much as you do.

....but seriously. I'd love to experience the "vibration" the OP is talking about in his truck. I'd like to believe that he has an actual problem but the fact that he drove a new Tacoma on the dealer lot and it had the same vibration leads me to believe he might just be a pussy. The engine spins around quite fast (thousands of times per minute) and generates quite a lot of vibration.

hes not crying, that came from all the other "haters" in here

its a legitimate concern. ive had cars/trucks/bikes/etc. that i didnt notice little things until a day/month/year later... it happens

my truck does the weird vibrate thing more now with the lift, but his does it stock. clearly its something.

damn, the guy with the alien thread got less shit than the OP here trying to DO GOOD for us TACOMA owners...

if you dont like people complaining about valid issues, you should maybe stay over in "the stan" man, welcome to the real world.

you're not really giving yourself or your "soldiers in the stan" a great name there bud...

I also have a vibration problem and I do believe that it's a design ( in other words a f up ) on the frames and the angle that transfer case meets drive shaft
