molding coming off

I have a 2017 Limited trim and it looks like someone tried to step on the little black molding behind the back wheel. The top of the molding is pulling away from the body panel. The bottom is secured to the base like the other side. It looks like it was just adhesived onto the body. What is the best way to fix it?

 

Pictures? I'd take it to the dealer and have them fix it under warranty.

 

It isn't a warranty issue if someone vandalized it.

Get rid of them and put Bushwhackers on it.

 

Here are the pictures. You can see the side that is fine and the side with it pulling away. it seems like it just needs some adhesive. What are bushwackers?

 

I'd be more worried about who stole your tailpipe from the left side.

I don't think anyone stepped on anything. It's likely stuck on with a 3m double sided tape.

Warranty.

Dealer will likely order a new piece, then just R&R.

A body shop would remove the existing, clean, reapply proper tape and re-adhere the part.

 

Thanks I will chat with them. They are supposed to do an oil change on it anyway.
