    I have a 1992 4x4 3.0 truck with 270-K. after about 150-K, I started using 10/40 oil. Anyone see a problem now, with 270-K, to use 20/50? I live in southern Arizona.

Living down there? Probably not but why not stay with what you're using? Unless the engine is using/burning oil you shouldn't need anything more than a 40weight. 20-50 is quite thick for these newer engines and I was a HUGE fan of 20-50 for years. However, I had a 73 Cadillac Coupe DeVille for 18 years. I wouldn't go any heavier than a 40 weight in a Taco engine unless it's burning oil and you "need" something thicker.

    LOL!

That's hilarious! Old enough to think a 92 is a newer motor because it is when you're talking about running 20-50 in it. 20-50 pretty much went out back in the 80's for most engines. Unless you own something from the 70's or earlier than that most engines don't need it.

Oh, I might add, old enough to remember .29 cent a gallon gas as a kid, .85 cent a pack cigs in my early 20's and just how smokin' hot Heather Locklear was on TJ Hooker.:D
