I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Check and make sure the main frame plate is flush with the frame there shouldn't be any gap between the frame and the slider frame plate. The new legs don't have anything to do with the where they sit they are the same dimensions as our old legs. Every single set of 3rd gen sliders have been welded in the same location from day one but yours do look lower it's odd. Check for obstructions between the frame plate and frame.

Installed the sliders today with a buddy. Install went smooth, took about 2-3 hours. Had to cut one plate a lot of clear a river but that was simple. Love the fit and finish!

How much clearance do I need between the door and tube? How much will it flex ? I have over a fingers worth IMG_4701.jpgIMG_4713.jpgIMG_4714.jpgIMG_4718.jpg

My sliders are welded about an 1/8" below the pinch weld running front to rear. I've landed on them multiple times, very hard, and have managed to get them to contact the pinch weld ever so slightly. So I'd be willing to say a fingers worth is more than plenty

Is there a write up for install of 3rd gen bolt ons? The bag of hardware looks a little overwhelming lol

By far one of the best mods you can do to the truck. Love these things

2nd gen DCLB.. where the hell does this become relevant in the install..? Doing install in the rain because determination.

Edit: Disregard. Found the secret spot for it. How many bolts per side should I have? I have a lot of holes in the slider mounts, but the frame holes aren’t big enough for the given bolt.

Every hole is not used most of them are for brake line clips on the driver side. These are made for over 10 years of frames that toyota changes ever so slightly every few years. Just bolt up the holes that fit the frame.

They are 'flat' off the frame. I would call it 90°

But I've heard it called 0° also

Basically there is no angle up or down

AF060AFF-E366-4FAC-AD01-77495690B749.jpg I guess the DCLB for a 2013 Tacoma only has an option for the kicker Out sliders? I didn’t see ones that didn’t kick or low profile. I saw this picture and wanted it for a DCLB.

The no kick on the DCLB was removed from the options. Building one or two sets a year is not cost effective. We will build them but there is a 10% upcharge to do so.

    Hey Jerry,

Was wondering if you're making bolt-on sliders for a 2014 Tacoma 4x4 Regular Cab these days?
