My wife tried one since the ingredients were all normal ingredients. She said it tasted like raw pasta. No thanks!

After my dogs 4 day diarrhea/vomit stint, I'm wondering if it was caused by one of three new bags of treats I got from Chewy. As a safety measure, I'm throwing all of them away. I will go back to treats I know and trust.

Daria, its most likely not bad treat but a change from a normal diet that is making your dog have intestinal problems. I have a German Shepherd that when we change anything in her diet she will have problems.

Looks like she has some eye issues in one eye so I'd name her after a famous female pirate.

    I'd name her Mary Read.

Same here except the roles were reversed. They're typically outside all day unless someone is home to let them in. The dogs don't sleep with us, but they do hang out until bed time. Then they go to their own beds.

Damn. Our department director just walked by as I was typing this. Good thing my second monitor doesn't face the opening of my cubicle.

Alright could use some advice. Yesterday I noticed Rusty had a bit of discoloration on the top of his nose. Ended up seemingly like he skinned him self a tad bit. Figured it was a sticker bush or just got to close to the fence. This morning when I looked at it again it looked like it might have two small scabs in the raw area. Then this afternoon he it was about the same as this morning. Now when I just let him back in for bed time he came in looking like this. Mind you he often comes in with dirt on the top of his nose from sniffing around. (and you can still see the dirt in the picture)

Not bad mind you just a tad bit of blood. Could dabs and it was all gone. But now he has a definite raw spot that is still red in color.

He doesnt seem to care about it at all. Doesnt like it or act any different to it. But obviously it needs to heal. So any advice other than keeping it clean and keeping him a bit more confined the next couple days (ie no just wandering the yard solo)

If you know he likes digging and putting his nose into holes, I would start by just following him round the property for an hour or so. Just going where he wants to go. Chances are he just found something new and interesting that is between a couple rocks and he's just rubbing his nose along it to try and get closer. :notsure:

Dab the cut with some cold water on a wash cloth. It will clean it up and feel good to the dog. Once my Lab launched from my truck when she saw the
river. Nose first into parking at 25 mph. Blood everywhere. We went down to the cold river and the bleeding stopped immediately. Ever since then
I swear by cold water on a wash cloth if you don't have a cold river to jump in.
