Definitely the worst part about working out here. I kinda understand the reasoning behind it, but still don't like it one bit. Its gotten to the point where I hardly CC anywhere I go cuz I'm afraid ill forget it in my vehicle then get randomly checked at the gate.

 

yessir the switches were perfect. I apparently have a small leak right at the compressor because it wasn't shutting off. Tim and I looked at it and release the air line from the compressor and it still just wouldn't build up pressure. Probably coming slightly through the threads at the solenoid or something. Will figure it out this week.

Also, my new portable ARB compressor setup failed on me. The air line melted right at the connection and put a hole in it so that air leaks right out and won't air up tires. I've sent pics and email to ARB about it (couldn't find a phone number) so now I'm waiting. Those compressors get so damn hot, I'm not sure why they don't have a solution for that, probably going to add a steel braided leader line to mine.

 

Is that portable ARB one the same one people are mounting behind their rear seats?

 

yes, if they have the single. I also see them mounted under the hood similar to the location of my mini one for the locker, which also gets very hot.

 

I always wondered about mounting them in the cab with them putting off heat. Do the double ones put off a lot too?

 

I was told the doubles have a fan integrated into them that helps, but not sure on overall heat. Ask @whitedlite how hot his gets, he has a double mounted under the hood just for his tires (because he doesn't have lockers installed yet )

 

Get a spray bottle with water and a few drops of dish soap and spray the compressor, it will bubble where the leak is at.

 

yeah that's my plan for the little guy under the hood. that one didn't give me any issue though like the single did melting the air line...

so many rocks at that park, I loved it. did you get to try out the front locker much and did you love it?

 

Used it a little, it made it so easy, more fun without it.
But did come in handy a few times.

 

I somewhat thought the same with my rear haha! It was almost too easy, but can get me to other fun stuff.

 

Don't use it too much, you'll forget how to wheel without it
