Tacoma gets 10 MPG

I'd go with a new sierra or Silverado with the 6.2 and throw a Maggie, exhaust and small spec'd blower cam on that. That would be good for an very conservative 600 wheel HP.

 

I hated towing with my Taco, the poor motor!

 

I do quite a bit better on fuel economy even when towing close to max capacity in the mountains. #mantrans

 

You have to get the LTZ to get bigger motor. Don't want a LTZ. Way to much chrome

 

I'd get the LTZ for sure for the cooled seats, but get z71 appearance package which deletes all the chrome.

 

octane rating has nothing to do with fuel mileage

 

Always thought that too but I did get slightly bettr wth 93 under same condtions

 

My best tanks have been on 85 octane... go figure
