I only use the fogs when I use my brights. They're obnoxiously (in a good way) bright.

I just attempted this - I pulled out the fog light bezel and broke 2 tabs. The plastic was really weak (probably from the AZ heat). From what I'm looking at it's best to go from behind the bumper, which doesn't look too difficult.

Edit: its way easy to go in through the wheel well. There's also 2 screws holding the light in place on my 2015, which are only accessible from the back.

Also, I can confirm that for the black/brown wire version of the adapter, I went black (fog) to black (adapter) to white (truck), and that worked.

Follow-up on the 2nd gen install (and yes I realize this is a 3rd gen forum...)

On my 2015, you can't pull the trim straight out. There's a clip holding it in from behind. If you try to pull it out it's gonna break.

Anyway, you really don't need to take that piece out or touch it at all. Just remove a few bolts and a clip to bend away the wheel well trim, and you'll be able to reach in and unscrew the two screws holding the light in place. You can use those same screws to secure the new lights, but I had to wiggle the bumper a bit to get em to line up with the squadron bracket.

am I the only one that didn't have any issues reaching the fog light assemblies without removing the wheel well or the trim surround?

did everything from the top and bottom of the engine bay.

I’m really tempted to put some pros in these as off road lights- wired through the high beams instead of the fog harness.

What kind of aiming do they allow?

Already have squadron sport ditch lights- I just haven’t come across a cleaner install for driving lights and I don’t use the factory fogs..

I did everything through top of the engine bay too. It was less hassle in my opinion. I did have to bust out the Power Probe though, to figure out the polarity on the wiring harness adapter. These definitely outperform the Morimotos . Though that’s not a fair comparison as these are an entirely different beast. The aiming is kinda tricky. I currently have mine pointed as low as possible, these suckers are bright!
I’ll have to take some more final install and output pics later.

How do you adjust the angle on them? I have them pointed extremely high. Is it just the screw?

To adjust the lights you need to loosen the M6 bolts that secure the housing of the light to the stainless mounting bracket. With the bolts loose you will be able to adjust the angle of the light. Once you've reached your desired aim tighten all of the hardware up and hit the trails!
