How was the install? Are you happy with it? I keep reading the horrors of BD tuner and worry. I might go for this tune in the near future. Thanks.

The UCON is great, BD keeps haunting me. I purchased a used ECU today because the BD tune can't be removed. Trying to get the new ecu squared away this week hopefully.

Maybe I missed it, were you having the high AFR problems other talk about? I don't have my gauges installed yet and wonder if I'm running too lean.

What's your opinion now that you have it installed on your truck? How much are you expecting to gain HP wise?

And please educate me a little. What is the BD Tune you are referring to? Is that a special tune supplied by URD?

BD tune = bully dog tune.
For supercharged guys they have to re-flash their ECU's for the truck to run correctly
there are 2 mainstream options. pay a dealership for TRD flash or use Bullydog re-flash.
the UCON is a new option. (UCON has been around but has not been plug and play until now)
Toyota started using proprietary ECU connectors in 09.

Why is one more expensive than the other? I want to get the SC and ucon, do I need to get the regular one or will the no tuning version work?

You would the BD tuner or stand alone like the URD Icon to take advantage of the 2.55 pulley. Also you don't need the 7th injectors that's more of a 1st gen Tacoma thing. The 2nd gen Tacoma already have 455 cc injectors from Magnuson which is plenty for your setup.
